[help]I Want to know the different between "----+ness" and "----+less"

Well, usually when it is + ness it means the "...." is present, whereas "...." is not present.

e.g.

Kindness = the quality of being kind, warm, sympathetic

Kindless = without kindness, unkind, unsympathetic

with (that quality)
without (that quality)

The question seems to suggest that there is a relationship between these suffixes, but I don't really see that. Nor do I see -ness as the presence and -less as the absence. For a
