Help Writting a Letter ASAP Please

Question

My daughter is a Jr at a High School here in Texas. She does speech, drama and debate w/her school. She was recently selected to compete in several tournaments 1 held at UT and 2 out of state. I am a sinlge mother of 3 girls and I just don't think I will be able to afford the expenses. We are wanting to ask for sponsors but we need ideas for a sponsorship/donation letter.

She will attend the following:
Debate Tournament - University Texas of Austin Nov 2013
National Qualifying Tournament - Harvard University Feb 13-18 2014
NIETOC National Individual Events Tournament of Champions - Minnesota, Texas Spring 2014

We are having trouble listing the diffrent events in the letter. We don't want to have to do a letter for every event.

Expenses include: Entry Fees, Air Travel, Hotel Accomodations and Meals.

UT $330/student
Harvard tournament is $812/student
Minnesota $754/student

I work for a courthouse and will ask defense attorneys, state attorneys and family.

Any ideas?

To me, the letter should focus on the reasons that these people should sponsor your daughter. Tell them why.

My daughter ____ is a junior at _______ High School in _______ , Texas. She is very active in speech, drama, and debate in school, and as a result of her participation is these activities, she has been selected to compete in three debating tournaments, one in Texas, and the other two out-of-state. The entry fees, travel costs, and hotel accommodations for the tournaments are not covered by tournament organizers and must be paid for by the contestant him/herself. This is quite and honor and opportunity for her, for ___ High School, and for the State of Texas, and I'm very eager to have her participate in all three tournaments, but the total costs, especially for the out-of-state ones, are high, as might be expected. I'm a single mom with three kids, and the out-of-state tournaments are unaffordable for me. In cases like this, it is usual to resort of some kind of fundraising effort or sponsorship arrangement, which is why I'm sending you this letter. Any donation you could spare would be very helpful and will go a long way towards enabling ___ to attend the out-of-state tournaments, and to bring honor to her high school and state. The three tournaments and their costs are as follows:

Debate Tournament, University of Texas at Austin, Nov. 2013, cost: $330/student.

National Qualifying Tournament, at Harvard University, Feb. 13-18, 2014, cost: $812/student.

NIETOC National Individual Events Tournament of Champions, in Minnesota, Spring 2014, cost: $754/student.
