Help Writing to the Board of Ethics

Hello, all.

I am writing because I need to contact the board of ethics at my school. I'll run down the situation to you guys and if someone could write a possible sample letter for me, taht would be great!

This last past week, I had a classmate of mine steal a flashdrive that belonged to me. After having done so, he erased all of my work files off the flash drive for a project due in less than a week. The work I had done was not baked up anywhere else as i hadnt had time to do so. This student claimed that he didn't know the flash drive was for me, but several of the files were labeled with my full name and all of the file folders were labeled as the project names for our class. This student is in the same class as me and claimed he didn't read any of the file names before he wiped my drive. (I know he was lying because of the above mentioned reasons and because this student does not like me. I also am a techy so I know that he couldnt have deleted the drive without looking at the file names. Given that the drive hadn't been reformatted and he had already started loaing his information onto the drive tells me it was doens with intent.)
