help with the a sentence

Hi,

It would be great if someone helps in correcting the sentence below:

"discrimination based upon an individual's sex, race, ethnicity, caste, national origin, age, religion or any other legally protected characteristics will not be tolerated"

Of course... I would use capitalization. But, I'm more interested to know whether it is better to use national origin or nationality?

Terms like nationality, country of origin, race, ethnicity etc are dodgy to use and best avoided if possible.

Even a term like '***' is somewhat controversial. In Canada, we commonly say 'gender'.

That's about as much help as I can offer you!
