Help with tenses

Hi,

I am starting my CELTA in a few weeks and am doing some preparation before I start. I never studied tenses at school so am learning a whole new system. I am really struggling to memorise and identify the tenses in use. Can anyone recommend any techniques to memorise the tenses.

I am really concerned that this will be the aspect that I fail on!!
