Name an mountain. This would be okay with "a" instead of "an." Mountain dosn't start with a vowel sound.

Name one mountain. This is okay.

Please write words for each alphabet letter on the paper. For each letter, write a word that starts with that letter.

3. Should it be 'curve' or 'curves'?

... the intersection of the demand and supply curve which indicates ... Two curves: the demand curve and the supply curve.

4. Is this correct with 'oddest'? What is it acting as?

... acting by making its presence felt in oddest of ways and occasions. ...in the oddest of was and occasions. The way it made its presence felt and the times it chose to do so were quite odd. It's an adjective.

I risk being called pedantic here - sorry, MrP, no offence meant - but I would add a comma after curve as the verb in the relative clause is singular (indicates). This means that the antecedent can't be the plural curves, it must be the entire main clause even though we can't see all of it. This, in turn, means the relative clause cannot be restrictive.
