"Mommy, Mommy, where are you?"

"I'm comming, baby." Miranda started down the hall, with each step her legs felt like lead.
The door to her son's room moved farther away and a persistence ringing noise grew
stronger.

"Mommy, I'm cold."

She fell to the floor and try to move her feet, but they wouldn't budge. As she looked up, her
eyes widened. A man appear at Kevin's door, his face cloaked in darkness. He entered her
son's room.
