Help with meaning

I would like if someone can explain me the meaning (translate in another words) of bold:

1) I shouldn't have tried to sneak it out. I know it sounds stupid, but I was gonna wrap it.

2) You see why they're way down the bill.

Thanks

Could you supply some more context, Anon? "Sneak it out" sounds like "smuggle it out", that is take something out, but hidden, so nobody sees it. "Wrap" something means "cover it with paper" or some kind of material.

Oh! "On the bill" would list which bands are playing at an event. It would start with the "headliners" or the most important bands, the ones people would have heard of and definitely want to see. The further down on the bill, the less well known. If in fact they aren't very good, they would be pretty far down on the bill.

This is related to the concept of "top billing" - in a movie, if t
