help with mail for the university

Can i say something like this, after they accepted me to their program. This is part of the previous conversation with one of the tutors. Or should i send something more, like that i'm happy, or i don't know.. something else.

I've seen that i'm admitted to the program. Thank you for your reply and all your help.

Best regards,
xxx

'I've seen that' suggests you did not receive a letter or email, but saw some kind of general list. Is this correct? 'Best regards' suggests you have a somewhat personal and friendly relationship.
