Help with letter ;)

I have just completed this draft letter but have some difficulties with grammar and more. Would you be able to help me?

Dear Mr........

I have recently applied for HNC Mechanical Engineering at .......college and hopefully will start in November 2011. After an interview with the tutors they told me that I could possibly enter university in June 2012 or continue with an HND Mechanical Engineering.

Therefore I wanted to know(confirm) is it still possible for me to enter the university with HNC Mechanical engineering or if I should wait till I receive the HND Mechanical Engineering and then enter. Also while researching about the course I found out that sometimes there is an agreement between the college and the university. Would you be able to tell me is there an agreement between the college and the univeristy.

I recently applied for the Mechanical Engineering HNC at ... College and hope to start in November 2011. During my interview with the tutors, they told me that I could possibly enter university in June 2012 or continue for a Mechanical Engineering HND.

Therefore I wanted to know whether it is possible for me to enter the university with an HNC or if I should wait until I receive an HND and then enter. Also, while researching the course, I read that there is sometimes an arrangement between the college and the university. Would you be able to tell me whether such an arrangement exists in this case?

Recently I asked for my portfolio of Engineering, as you may know the grades I received were
not enough for college. There are many reasons behind it but I would rather not get in details.

But I would like to know when my portfolio is ready to collect as you promised me during the break. Unfortunatley I need it now as the deadline the "new" college has given me is 15th december 2011. I would love to collect but at the moment I am working for the royal mail in london. Therefore the only time to collect my work would be either on Tuesday morning or Thursday afternoon. Or you can give to my sister "Vanessa" who is in the college most days.

I tried to call you during the week but unfortanley the phone is not picked up but I will try to phone you back on Tuesday during my lunch break to confirm if you have received the e-mail.

I will also promise this will be my last e-mail ever to you and will not contact you again about my portfolio. I wish you all the best.

Recently I requested my Engineering portfolio. As you may know, the grades I received were
not high enough for my first college application. However, I would like to know when my portfolio will be ready to collect as you told me during the break, as I need it very soon now, for the deadline the new college has given me is 15 December.

I am currently working for the Royal Mail in London, so the only time I have available to collect my portfolio is either Tuesday morning or Thursday afternoon. Or you could give it to my sister Vanessa, who is at the college most days.

Recently I was made redundant for my job and therefore went back to education. I have recently just finish my level 3 btec engineering course and have also been teaching myself the a-level maths course.

The good part is that I have received offers from some university but unfortunately I have not found any centre that will accommodate me yet. Also I only found out today that the deadline for the "normal" fee is on Wednesday 21st March 2012.

I am e-mailing you because Edexcel (www.edexcel.com) told me that you had previously accept private candidate students studying A-Level Maths and want to know if I could possible sit the following units at your centre.

The units are;

Core Mathematics 1
Core Mathematics 2
Core Mathematics 3
Core Mathematics 4
Mechanics 1
Statics 1
