Help with learning

Hey there, I've been having a problem lately our teacher went a bit nuts and decided to give us 8 pages of vocabulary to learn (that makes about 1000 words) and we are writing a test on Friday. Does anyone of you know some useful tips on how to learn that horrendous amount of words as quickly as possible? Thanks a lot for help.

Group the words together in some way that makes the most sense to you; about 25 words per group. Then study each group for 30 minutes at random intervals. Put each word in a sentence.

  • Use a multisensory approach - flash cards (visual, close your eyes and see the word in your mind), writing out the word (tactile), moving the flash cards to form different related groups of words (kenesthetic) and speaking or singing it (auditory).
  • You will be studying quite a lot!
