Help with grammar please.

Hi There,

Can you tell me if I am grammatically correct with a word "and" here as a conjunction please?

I was walking to the window and looking outside. Grammatical.

I was walking to the window and looked outside. Can this be grammatical? probably not but I am not certain.

The only ones that are correct are those that don't mix forms: I walked to the window and looked outside. I was walking to the window and looking outside. CJ
