Hi anyone out there...and I really, really appreciate your help...I have an assignment coming up in a couple of days and would really appreciate help with the following sentences...(I am in my 50's you guys, havn't studied for 35 plus years...so grammar does not come easy to me..but this is really IMPORTANT TO ME..) I need the FORM for the following sentences...
1) I've been waiting (for 2 hours) 2) I needn't have brought that milk 3) He played truant 4) I stopped to give (my friend a lift) 5) I stopped giving (my friend a lift) I have done all the other parts of the assignment...pronunciation, meaning etc....but the form comes really hard to me...any assistance would be SO HELPFUL...thank you and blessings

By "form" do you mean mode and tense ? Why don't you put a guess in on each of the five statements. I will comment on your answers..
