Help with finding song!!!

The song is from 1997-98. Some of the lyrics that I recall are............"been around the world and .....stupid people............" "I'm not sick, I'm not well". There's a part in it they say "rage against the machine".

It's a fast beat alternative/rock song. I have it in my head and it's driving me crazy!!

Apparently it's one of the sound tracks for 'American Pie'.

The song is actually by Harvey Danger and the name is Flagpole sitta. I also had a very hard time fining the out, but glad I did I also think this is a great song.
