Help with finding a lost word

I’m trying to write a letter to someone but can’t remember for the life of me what word I am intending to you. My sentence is: ‘I felt over text there is a … to respond faster than giving you this letter’ the ellipses (…) is where my missing word is. Please help!!

The English of your sentence is a little iffy. I am not sure what "over text"
