Since earning a master’s degree in marine engineering, I have worked for the last 11 years as a certified marine surveyor for Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, a is one of the leading classification societies and a member of IACS. My main specialization is mechanical engineering, but I certificated also in shipbuilding and electrical engineering specialty. I am expert of Maritime Management Systems (ISM, ISPS, MLC) and quality system auditor. In this role, I totally qualified in inspection, survey and register of technical documentation of the ships, manufacturers, ship owners and adjacent branches of activity.

How do I see myself as a marine surveyor?

First of all, I'm focused on quality and attentive to detail work. I believe that safety depends on the implementation of regulations and the ability to correctly interpret and apply them in practice.
In addition, I approach each inspection individually, in case of difficult or conflict situations I try to find a competent solution and solve the problem.
I am not afraid to take responsibility and quickly make decisions in emergencies.
I have a lot business trip experience (Sweden, Denmark, Norway).
