If an overall grade is given according to the student's class performance, homework completion, participation in activities, attendance, etc, any performance but the examinations, what would be a word or a sentence to describe it?

The final grade is given according to the overall performance, excluding/(with the exclusion of) the examinations.

Hi Lewis

Glad to see that we are now fellow members of this forum. The other forum has 'died'. I have told them repeatedly to do something but have not heard from them at all. Looks like one day that forum will be removed. Maybe the 'revamped' system (which was very lousy) is the first step in their attempt to kill the forum. Macmillan has lost interest in the forum.
