Help with a letter

I'm writing a letter about replacement of battery. Please correct my mistakes

I am writing this letter to you to accept my claim regarding Replacement of my battery. I bought 12v battery from your store on 18th, January 2015, but recently/ on august 2015 my battery fall damaged. So, I took it to your store for replacement but they resist to accept replacement claim due to losing of my purchase invoice. So, it would be very helpful if you accept my replacement on basis of my warranty card and xeorx copy of purchase invoice.
