Help! What does this sentence mean?

When I read a news report on the BBC, I saw this sentence:

It's time that the right hand knew what the far right hand is doing.

I could not understand what this means at all. What does "the far right hand" mean? Is there anybody to help? Thanks.

Oh this is so typical of British humor! It is a take-off on the phrase:
0
AlpheccaStarsthe Replublican Party
I know this is just a typo, but I love it!

Oh kind of like a Freudian slip? Emotion: big smile
