00It seems in many cases nobody cares if you use a plural or singular noun after "any". Provided you don't say "Do you have any sister"... I would have used "uncertainty", singular, I guess it would have been good as well. 050010id1

0I know what you mean, Kooyeen! In this case there is, to me at least, a very subtle shade of difference between uncertainty and uncertainties. I'm going to try and explain it, but it's a bit of a slippery fish in my mind, so bear with me!02br

00"any uncertainty" feels like it refers to a vague feeling of doubt, of something not being quite right, something nebulous.
