Help understandng Concept questions

Please can someone help me understand concept questions the more I read the more confused I get.

I have asked a few questions but not yet had any replies your response would e much apreciated so I know I am heading in the right direction.

I have to determine the essental meaning of the underlined and devise four concept questions could you please check my example

I wish you wouldn't smoke so much

1. Does the person smoke alot?

2. Is the speaker unhappy the person smokes?

3. What does the person do alot of?

4. What does the speaker wish for?
