help to understand examples
which type of 2nd sentence is in first example and what happened if we don't use "been" in first example and in 3rd example can we change into passive and in 4th example i want to know: Is it passive or not if not then why we use been here.
1) I didn't tell Sam what happened. He wouldn't have been pleased.
2) I didn't tell Sam what happened. He wouldn't have pleased.
3) you should have done this work
4) the road is closed. there has been an accident.

"Please" as a verb needs an object. (It pleased me. = I was pleased.)
1) I didn't tell Sam what happened. He wouldn't have been pleased. (Active voice: It would not have pleased him.)
2) I didn't tell Sam what happened. He wouldn't have pleased (who?). (Active voice: He would not have pleased his father. )
