Help to resolve the confusion

0Hi,02br
02br
00Sometimes I get confused whether a sentence is saying two things or one thing when a noun is preceded by what seem to be two adjectives of two different items.02br
02br
00Series is both the singular and plural form of the word. -- Here, I can see somewhat clearly that 'form' needs not be in plural because 'singular' and 'plural' acts like normal modifying adjectives of 'form'.02br
02br
00We went for one chicken and one beef fijita platter. -- Here, 'one chicken' and 'one beef' seem to indicating two different platters and should be written as "We went for one chicken and one beef fajita platters." What do you think?02br
02br
00They are in entertainment and hotel business. -- Here, to me, a case of normal modifying adjectives for the word 'business like the first example -- thus, no modification needed. 02br
02br
00Do you have some tips for this type of dilemma? 0-

00I think you are right. If you have a sentence like this, how would you know it is talking about two hats or one hat with two colors, red and yellow? Normally, one would go for 'one red and yellow hat' but can it also be looked at as 'a red hat and a yellow hat'?02br

Hi. Please help. How would you interprete the following underlined part? Would you say it denotes two seeds, one good and one bad? If it is so, shouldn't it be the plural "seeds" instead of "seed"?

How would you make a comparison between the good and bad seed?

How about these? Are these sentences correct? Thank you in advance.

How would you separate b

They are all 'correct'.

How would you make a comparison between the good and bad seed?-- Clearly one seed each
How would you separate between the good and bad equipment?-- Probably several pieces of equipment each; if it were just one piece each, it would probably be specified, e.g., '...the good and bad humidifier'.
How would you distinguish between the good
