Help to phrase two questions

Hi,

1. Is it correct to phrase a question like: "What is the film on which Dustin Hoffman won an oscar award?" ?

2. If I want to refer to someone profession or specialty, what is the appropriate word, e.g:

Alber Einstein specialized in the _____ of physics...

Also is "specialized" is appropriate here? how would you phraase thie sentence?
