Help to correct my paragraph

I need to write a paragraph, but I have some mistakes on it. Hope anyone can help me correct it better.

When I was in high school, I remember my math was very poor, I always fail my exams, I never listened to what the teacher said. I hate math, many concepts and formulas I haven’t try to memorized it. One of the reason is the teacher didn’t explain well and the lectures was boring. Students didn’t understand what the teacher said, at that time, many students lost interest in mathematics. After I graduated from high school, I move to college to continuing my education, I tool Math136 last semester, the instructor was Mr. Smith. His lectures are interesting and funny, He can explain the definitions very well. He became popular and many students try to add his class. Before I took his class, I hate mathematics a lot, I hate it because I always fail my exams and I don’t even know how to solve an easy equations. But Mr. Smith makes mathematics very interesting and students willing to learn more from him. He is the best mathematics teacher in ELAC. He makes me like mathematics. I fell blissful to Mr. Smith.

While I was in high school, I remember that mathematics was a nightmare; I failed all my exams, probably because I would fall asleep while my teachers taught on a daily basis. The monotone lectures never failed to put me under. Even while I was awake, most of the concepts and formulas flew right over my head.

  • I wasn't alone.
  • Because most of my fellow classmates also didn't understand the teacher, they too lost interest in mathematics (note: this is probably unnecessary to the paragraph).
