Hi, I'm writing a script and need a bit of help.
The scene: Two people are on a date and the man suddenly:
"My ex-wife used to say that too."
Megan doesn't really know what to do with that.
Can I say "doesn't really know what to do with that" if I want it to mean that she doesn't know what to do with that information or doesn't it make sense?
Thank you in advance
She doesn't know how to respond or react to what he said.
