Help to?

I found this interesting and very touching video where a kid says:

"Your donation can help to stop this."

Is the use of "to" right in this case?

TIA.

It is correct, but not necessary.

Help is a verb that can be followed by the bare infinitive (in this case "stop") as opposed to the infinitive (in this case "to stop").

Your donation can help stop this. -- bare infinitive CORRECT
Your donation can help to stop this. -- to infinitive CORRECT

Your donation can stop this. -- bare infinitive CORREC
