Help the usage of verb "have” please!

Dear Teachers

A: Could you have a taxi waiting for me, please?
A: Could you have a taxi wait for me, please?
Which one is more common and why?
B: OK. There will be a taxi waiting outside in 10 minutes.

A Textbook in Chinese says: (Let, make or have these three words) + object + V(without “to” as Object is active voice)
Eg. Mom has me wash the car. You can’t use Mom has me to wash the car or Mom has me washing the car.
Let me wait you and let the car wait you is right., but Let the car waiting you.is incorrect.
Make the kid cry but you can’t use “ make the kid crying”

Why on web “to have a taxi waiting for me” is used a lot. if it true.
if I can use “Mom has me waiting for her”Is better use than “Mom has me wait for her”?
I am much confused if using “have “ and “wait” combine together that will go exception?

Thanks a lot
