Help teacher need to send this explanation clear up

might you tell me if your laptop computer works this way because I have to send a message explain my situation and it is not clear

The computer's volume isn't the same as the headphone's volume when plugged in. If you mute your computer's volume and then plug in headphones in you'll have sound. There is a differerent control panel for headphones from the computer volume. If you want to mute the headphone's volume you have to press mute again the same button. In a nutshell if the computer's volume is either very lound or muted, it doesn't mean that if you were to put the headphone's in, it would be the same.
