Help regarding persuasive essay

Your family is getting ready to move to a new home and your parents have given two choices: in a neighborhod outside the city or on a farm in the country. Where would you live? Give atleast three reasons in support of your choice.

Ok. Well i would choose to live in a neighborhood outside the city because shopping can be easily done. The is easy access to computers and internet at cheaper rates (or tech for that matter). There are many things to do for example cinema, malls. We can also work by ourselves and earn .. which is seldom possible in the case with farm in a suburb. Furthermore, it quiet and easy access to the city.

so what do you guys think about my reasoning?

Great, you have many reasons - well more than the 3 you needed:

It's easier to shop in suberb than in the country.

There is better access to computers and internet and other technology, and perhaps at cheaper rates

There are many things to do: cinema, malls.

There is a better opportunity to find jobs where you can earn your own money

It easies to get to the city.

See? Your essay is almost done. Okay, not quite. But you need to write an opening paragrah, stating your choice and that there are many reasons you feel this way. Then in the next paragraph or two, you write a full sentence for each one of your reasons. Then in your final paragraph, you repeat your choice, summarizing the good reasons that it's the better option.

Well i wrote the essay and wanted you guys to see how it went. I request you guys to proof read it and give your suggestion as to how i can improve it. The question emphasized that it should be in a form of a letter so i wrote it in the form of a letter to the parents..

Dear parents,

You were planning on shifting the house and you gave me two choices of choosing from the neighborhood outside the city or a farm in the country. We currently live in city and I have lived in city all my life and so I love it here. So I choose the option of shifting the house to the neighborhood outside the city. I think the little change would be good in life and everyone should have changes in their lives. Moving to a farm in the country would prove to be a drastic change which I think should not happen. I strongly believe that we should shift to the neighborhood which is just outside the city and not in the country.

Some people believe that it is easier to shop in the country; I think that shopping is easier and fun in the city because there is always more variety. In the country there is not much of variety because there aren’t many places to chop in the country. Shopping malls are being built in the city and not in the country. People in the country come all the way to the city to shop and have fun themselves. Incase of emergency, articles are easy to find and access when we are living in a suburb rather than living in country. Newer companies are entering the market and most of the companies want their businesses and offices to be established in the city or a suburb rather than in the countryside.

Another group of people believe that it is difficult to have access to internet and other technologies as we do not reside in the country. This is surely not the case in the suburbs. People in suburbs have access to internet and other technologies easily and perhaps even at a cheaper rate than when compared to the country. Some technologies like handheld gaming gadgets are not even heard of in some countries just because they haven’t been introduced there. Handheld computers or simply known as the PDA’s are not famous in the country which proves to help the user in many different ways. Organizing and E-mail are just a few services offered by the PDA’s. Furthermore, it is often that is no mobile reception which makes the mobile phones useless.

Unlike the people who reside in country, people in suburbs can easily access the city because it is not too far from thee city itself. Residing in suburbs leaves more choices when compared to that of country. It provides more entertainment for example going to the cinema and watching movies with friends. Another example can be going to the mall and just hanging around with friends. Well if we are moving, I will miss my friends a lot. And if we move to a neighborhood just outside the city then I can easily get to them and in a limited amount of time. I can go to the same university I am going to because again, it is easy to access the city. Comparing to living in the countryside, this also helps dad to go for work in the morning and easily going to the office in downtown because of the less travelling needed to reach the office.

Being in country we cannot get jobs which are paid accordingly. Staying in the suburb, I can get a job for myself. Me having a good job with the deserving salary helps dad for saving the money. This can also benefit in a manner that it helps us enjoy more luxury. There is an added advantage of dad not having the trouble of becoming my driver because I already have a license to drive. Having a job will help me save money for my new car which I have been planning on since the day I had the craze for cars.

Finally, I think we should be shifting to a neighborhood just outside the city and not in the countryside. This is because we have easy access to the city primarily. Another reason is shopping which is easy in the suburb unlike the country. Third reason is having the access of computers, internet and other technologies with ease and certainly the easy availability of jobs with better salary than those available in the country help support my stand on shifting to a suburb and rather not to the country.

0you dont have any points on the good of the country side, you just say we have more opportunities in town, thats not always true, i live on a farm and have plenty of work to do, just make sure you point out goods and bads of both, not just your side. the country is way more quieter .0-
