Help Proof Read my Short Essay that is due on Tuesday
One item I would make sure to include in the time capsule that will be uncovered
by future generations would be a picture of the Twin Towers collapsing. Id like for the
future generation to see what took place in our country during our generation that may
have entirely changed the United States. After viewing the picture they would clearly
understand why the United States is the way that it is in their time.
What took place on September 11th of 2001 was devastating and changed the lives for Americans altogether. For example, 7/11 caused major damage to our economy that isn’t recoupable and will never be forgotten. Several months after the death of the towers, there have been many changes including wars and value rises. Many U.S soldiers have passed, a good portion of New York’s population were unemployed and value raises such as gas prices, airline tickets and many more have been raised.
It’s never been the same after September 11th. The war in Iraq took place shortly after the incident leaving many soldiers and civilians dead. This war besides the acquiring of oil seemed to be America’s come back after failure to capture the leader of many tribes including the Fullujahn tribe, Osama Bin Laden. September 11th contribute many changes in the United States economy.
Rebuilding the towers has been an issue for the last couple of months. The U.S
government has taken many concepts and ideas of a new structure for what use to be New
York’s biggest monument, but have yet decided on what structure would be stable in
enough to go with. Hopefully the new generation may view and see the changes
from the new towers and the past.
Looking at the picture will clearly show a monument that had a lot of meaning. The World trade center was the largest set of Buildings in New York and symbolized freedom. As being America freedom landmark towers, I feel it would be the best item to include in the capsule. The generation to discover the picture; with a little bit of research, will find tons of information for it.
