Hi,
I am student in first year of engineering school in France, my teacher asked us to do a CV video. I did one, and my teacher told me to try to record a native speaker reading my script and then use his pronunciation, rhythm and tone to practice.
Thank you.
The script :
Hello, my name is Dorian Deligny and I am making this video as a supplement to cover letter and resume.
Currently, I am student in first year of engineering school «Conventional and Renewable Energies» in EPF Montpellier in France. My two years of High School Preparatory Classes, which consisted in an intensive preparatory course for enrollment in graduate engineering school, allow me to develop efficient working methods and rose me to appreciate effort and persistence.
Along with my technical skills, I am passionate about environmental science, and really aware of the growing energy challenges. I am very interested in the jobs which create and develop sustainable energy systems to substitute for fossil fuels. This interest in renewable energies began at middle school thanks to an observation placement in a household waste biogaz plant from a French company : Ametyst where household waste was changed into biogaz and compost.
My past experience where I worked in a public swimming pool as a polyvalent agent doing cash out and maintenance has also taught me to be a great collaborative team-player, and my relationship-building and communication skills have been praised by my employers.
While my education and experience would add value to your organization, when you combine these with my passion, dedication and commitment to sustainable energies, I believe I provide the total package. I guarantee that you won’t regret making the decision to hire me.
You can contact me through the link show right now on my linkedin. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen.
