As to  "Igmoritis" - can you give the source for this word - preferably the sentence in which it appears. It does not appear in the medical literature.

and for sinews they are tendons

I don't think this is the name of a "disease". It seems to be something relating to the sinus, but as none of the online medical sites to do with the sinus and its problems seems to have heard of it, it must be either a transliteration from the Greek or a misspelling of some kind. The other references I can find are one the CancerForums from someone in Greece, and the translation of an article on the problems encountered by divers.

It is probably some kind of sinusitis.

It seems to be sinews indeed.

And this seems to be from some old text (see "drunke")
Probably talking of tendons or nerves (another old meaning of sinews) then, as the poster said.
