Help, please! Proofread motivation letter :)

Hi everyone! I'm a German student and hope to spend my semester abroad in the US. For my application I have to write a motivation letter and hope you can help me with it. I wasn't quite sure what to write about but I hope there is aaaanything in this first try that is considerable....Thanks a lot!

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to introduce myself as a proper candidate for a semester abroad at the University of *** and its program for Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration.

At present I am enrolled at the University ***** in **** and study Tourism Management in the second semester.
By virtue of my passion for foreign countries, cultures and languages I heretofore participated in various exchange programs with Great Britain, France, Spain and Bolivia. Moreover I worked as a tourist guide in Spain which sparked my interest in the tourism industry and led to my current studies.

Due to my enthusiasm for the Spanish language as well as the United States, my aim is to work in the Hispanic tourism industry once I have graduated from university. Therefore it would be eminently beneficial to spend my semester abroad at an American university to immerse into the American culture and way of life.

In spite of my attraction to Spanish, I never neglected French which I likewise studied in high school and would relish to improve. Regarding **** francophone history I reckon it to be the perfect city to broaden my horizon in this field.

My aspiration to spend my semester abroad distinctly at the University of *** is based on its good reputation and its broad diversity of courses.
The **** School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration not only provides the foundation of academic knowledge I need for a job in the tourism industry but furthermore gives me the possibility to observe hands-on tourism as **** experiences a tremendous growth in this area.

After a semester at the University of **** I hope to have acquired new and international perspectives on tourist topics and experienced the life of an American student at such an ethnically diverse university. I feel confident that the knowledge and experience gained at the University of ****would help me reach my professional goals in the future.

In brief I consider myself well-suited for a semester at the University of **** and would spend my stay continually motivated and committed.
