help with grammar, how to write below

A Kids are somewhat of a (toll/strain) on our relationship.
....are hard on our relationship.

B Those pants match that shirt better than the other shirt.

C I hate the feeling in the morning when you wake up and your throat hurts.

"somewhat of a" is a common error. It should always be "SOMETHING of a":
"Kids are put something of a strain on our relationship."
SOMEWHAT is an adverb and you can use it in this sentence, but not with OF A:
