Help please.

Hi,

English is not my mother tongue, so sometimes I have difficulties in understanding some sentences. And I love asking you, because you are so helpful.

I've read a sentence in a book, and I don't understand what it means. It describes a boy, and it says: "His hair was neither one colour nor the other."

So what color is this boy's hair? Emotion: smile Please help me understand.

Thanks in advance:)

It's trying to say that the boy's hair colour was an intermediate colour (between two colours). , His hair was neither brown nor black; it was some colour in between.
