Help please!

I saw the mysterious sentence. What'd it mean? "Two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left." Explain in detail please. Thanks.

It is as it sounds. If somebody does something wrong to you, and then you take revenge you are both in the wrong. Hence 2 wrongs don't make a right.
