help please!

1.I'll prescribe you some medicine or medicines?

2.For animal it's "animal hair" while for woman it's "woman's hair" How come? I don't get it.

I'll prescribe you some medicine or medicines? ---As far as I know, it can both be countable and uncountable but here after "some" I suggest you use the plural one like some apples. For animal it's "animal hair" while for woman it's "woman's hair" How come?

no, i wasn't talking about that matters. i mean when we talk about animal hair, we just say "animal hair" but when it comes to woman
we say "woman's hair"--with apostrophy s.
