Help Please..

Can someone correct grammar for me please..? I need to turn it in on monday. Thank You

In the English 210 class, there were a lot of evaluations, thoughts, its strengths and its weaknesses about the materials in this course. To me, my evaluation, thoughts, its strengths and its weaknesses were based on what I have seen and learned during this semester.
In my point of view, I knew this class seemed so boring to some people. The reason I said that because in a couple weeks since Fall 2004 semester started, there were some of students whom asked about why this class was only teaching about the African slaves instead of teaching something else. However, this English 1B class for me was so helpful, because in my life I have never known how hard of the African slavery’s lives. But when I took this class, I had a chance to know about them and their stories about the time when they were slavers. Further more, I had an opportunity to write about my family’s story why we escaped from VietNam in hope of finding a better life in a new world. Like the African slaves, they also had a new life once they were traded and brought to another country as a slaver.
The materials and the assignments in this class were so optimistic, because it covered all the things that we discussed and watched about the African slavery.
In this essay, the strength of this class was to encourage everyone who could talk and share their thoughts and their opinions during the class time. This class seemed like a debate class, because everyday people could discuss one topic for a whole period. Throughout the discussions and explanations of instructor or student’s thoughts and their opinions could help everyone get more details about the information that they didn’t understand. In this class, the weakness was sometime when we debated about something, there were some of students who sometime talked over and went too far from the main point that we had been discussed. That was the reason why some people got bored and felt asleep often in class.
Eventually, this English class to me was so helpful. The materials and the assignments helped me know more about the African slaves. Plus the explanations of Instructor and the student’s opinion helped me to build up my understanding and knowledge what we discussed over the past few months.
