Help needed with Adverbials

Hi

A friend's son was recently set some homework which involved identifying the Adverbial Phrase within a sentence. There was one which I'm convinced that the teacher got wrong so I'd love to hear the opinion of the community:

Can you identify the Adverbial Phrase within the following sentence:

"Even though he didn't really fit in my book bag I brought my dog to school"

Many thanks,

- Hylus
