Want to write a Motivation Letter...following the guidelines......Guidance required for 3 and 5th point...
1. Personal understanding of “renewable energy engineering and management” (one sentence). 2. Motivation to apply in relation to your previous experiences/education (half a page). 3. Motivation to apply in relation to your future aspirations / preferred occupation in line with the three possibilities of specialisation that the REM programme offers: energy systems technology, energy conversion, environmental planning and management (half a page). 4. Name three main benefits you expect to gain from the M.Sc. programme (list). 5. Name three main contributions you could make to the M.Sc. programme (list). 6. Five arguments/personal characteristics, why you should be selected according to your own view (list)From my point of view the first thing which comes in my mind about the programme “Study of Renewable Energy Engineering & Management” is how I can make awareness among people towards the use of Renewable Energy so that we all can collectively work to save our planet Earth from Environmental & Energy concerns.
The three main benefits which I expect to gain from the M.Sc. programme are as follows:- Opportunities to build up personal network. Firstly I will get to meet new people from different parts of the world, completely diversified culture also working in the similar field of Renewable Energy. Secondly, I will get a chance to visit many solar industries at the Green city of Germany which I would not get otherwise.
- The course will sharpen the focus of my interests and will help me to take in depth knowledge about the subject along with more practical knowledge/exposure.
- As the course programme is designed according to the international employment market requirements, it will help me getting wide job opportunities.
Motivation to apply in relation to your previous experiences/education (half a page). My interest has always been in the field of renewable since my school days. I still remember the first project which I made in my school when I was in 3
rd standard, was a Solar Cooker which was appreciated by many. It was my concern towards saving my planet earth that has always pushed me and will do the same in future to move towards renewable. During my Course of study I got opportunity to work with various companies as an Intern, Starting with
XXXX XXX, India where I did my first Internship for a duration of 6 weeks where I learnt the complete process of making of a Solar Cell. Second was atXXX
Germany for a period of 1 month where I got to learn basic programming to run the robot used in Solar cell Production Machines, Handling the machines using Teach Pendant. While I was there at XXX, I also got a chance to visit
ZZZ production line. It was during this trip when I interacted with few Scientists working at XXX department that I came to know about the research being done in the field of Solar Energy in Germany and about the Green city Freiburg. Finally, my last Internship was at
CCCC, India which is India's top most/Leading power producing Company for a period of 6 months.
It was my trip to Germany which made me think that there’s lot more in the field of Renewable Energy. So I wished to do a Master’s programme from Germany to sharpen the focus of my interests and to take in depth knowledge about the subject along with more practical experience. Finally, my previous studies in Solar & Alternative Energy along with industrial exposure in industries working in Solar Domain Motivated me to apply for Master’s degree in the field of Renewable energy.
Five arguments/personal characteristics, which I think I should be selected are:- I have industrial exposure in companies working in the field of Solar which I have mentioned in my CV.
- My previous studies have been in the same subject. i.e. Solar & Alternative Energy.
- I have stayed in different cities during my course of studies. So it would be easier for me to study & work there as well as I am adaptable.
- I love to play games, sportive person not on regular basis, but whenever I get time specially cricket. So, I am physically well prepared to take any challenge if required during this program.
- I have learnt German (Basic) Language during my course of studies which I am sure would be fruitful for me.
