Help needed proofreading my job preferences for an application

Question

I am in the process of applying for a job, and on the application I have to write about my preferences. In the preferences section, they want the following: ideal job/company/management style, strengths, general preferences, and motivating factors.

BTW, it's a programmer job. Here's what I have so far:
Ideal Job
- challenging work
- multitasking
- flexible start/end time
- knowledgable management and fellow team members
- competitive salary
- working with a diverse group of people
- learning new things regularly
- room for advancement

Ideal Company
- a successful well-known company

Management Style

Strengths
- I rarely make the same mistakes twice. The first time I make a mistake I usually jot it down, think about it and how not to do it again another time.

General Preferences
- share an office or work are with a small team, so that if I needed feedback on a solving a problem,I can get other people's input

Motivating Factors
- knowing that clients/coworkers depend on me for what I'm working on
- knowing that what I'm learning would be useful in the future

Anyhow, can people help me proofread this since I know I've probably made a couple of mistakes or that I could have expressed certain things differently.

I think it's quite good, Blackie. There are just a couple of minor adjustments I'd make:

I understand what you`re trying to say and you`ve done a good job an expressing yourself BUT from the company`s perspective there are some things to consider.

Under `strengths`. Companies generally look for `perfect` employees. Don`t show them that you are human and make mistakes. quote ` I rarely make the same mistake twice`. Perhaps changing it to something more positive like `Strengths. Enjoy personal growth within the workplace. or Continuous Learning` sort of ideal. ( do you see what I mean?

You, and all of us, would like a successful well-known company but many new companies start to challenge the big guy. Your resume may not go to a successful well-known company, but they`d like to be or will be someday.
So I would change that section to `A company in which I can grow` or something using words like `evolve` `challenge` etc.

Motivating factors- reword the first point. It sounds like you can`t function unless someone needs you and if you ever run up against a psychology trained HR person; and many are, you`d be mincemeat. What about simply saying your are motivated by the interaction of teamplayers to complete an assigned task? or something along that line.

Under your preferences you wrote `a flexible start and finish time`. To some employers that would mean that you don`t mind working from 8 am to 2 am to finish a project. It leaves you wide open to be taken advantage of. We all would love flexible hours, freelance rocks ! but when an employer reads that I`m concerned about the amount of sleep you might end up getting to get a paycheque. The same goes for `multitasking`. Do you REALLY want the boss to give you 8 projects at once to get done by 3am because you`re setting yourself up for it. `Multitasking is something you could put under `strengths`
