Help needed in review of this letter
Your local college is organizing an event on the International Student’s Day and is looking for people to talk about their country. Write a letter and say
- What topics would you like them to cover?
- Why would it be interesting for students?
- Ask questions about the arrangements.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter with respect to an event on the International Student’s Day in the college for which you are looking for people who can give speech about their country.
Chinese language and dresses are two main topics which I would like you to include in the program. The reason being our college has just few Chinese students and many other students belong to European countries.
Not only students but also their parents will be learning about Chinese culture and how it spread from China to other regional countries. This will enhance their knowledge and entice them to study more about history of China which is the second leading country of the world after United States of America.
As far as arrangements are concerned, I would like to know when and where this event will take place. Last time, people could not come on annual dinner of college due to heavy rain which forced the people to stay inside in their house.
