Help me with writing task 2: Many developing countries are currently expanding their tourist industries. Why is this the case? Is it a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, the tourism industry have been extending and developing dramatically in growing countries. There are many reasons for this, I hold a view that it is an advantage for countries that have many popular tourist destinations and have an important source of income from tourism. However, it is a disadvantage in many other ways.To begin with, the development of economy and cultural exchange are one of great positives that tourists generate. Firstly, tourism was expanded to help indigenous people who could be in several businesses. From my experience, Phu Quoc is one of the well-known tourist destinations in Vietnam, and attracts investment from multinational companies and so many hospitality industries established consisting of hotels, restaurants, transport that create employment for the local people. Secondly, tourism plays a pivotal role in establish relationships between area countries and the world. For instance, the cultural activities, cuisines and heritage sites in local region could be accessed by holidaymakers, conversely, native residents can access the tourism culture of travellers. On the other hand, I also think that tourism expanded negative impacts on indigenous people. Especially, the environmental contamination because of tourists causes, namely air pollution, water pollution in famous tourist attractions and direct effects on local citizens. In addition, the traditional produce could be exhausted and danger vanished. According to a recent survey, native residents reap multiple the benefits of tourism industry such as business activeties that haven’t lots of time on traditional jobs.In conclusion, the tourism industry expanded in developing countries due to benefits on the economy, finances that it’s brings. Although, it is pose a threat to the local environment, however, it can be considered for reduced influences to minimally on the environment.
