The pie charts compare the proportion of water usage in terms of different categories in San Diego County, California and worldwide.
It is obvious that households in San Diego County consume a considerably higher proportion of water than that in California and Worldwide. People in the world use the lowest percentage of water for accommodation but the highest proportion for Agriculture.
In San Diego County, residential sector accounts for 60% of the total water usage. This is 21% higher than the proportion of water consumption in California, and 52% more than the percentage in the world. People in the world use nearly a third of total water for industry (33%), while the figures for San Diego County and California are exactly the same in both regions, 23%.
In terms of Agriculture, the percentage of water use in worldwide is four times as high as that in San Diego County, at 69% and 17% respectively. Finally, in California the smallest water use is for Agriculture, at 28%.
