This is 21% higher than the proportion of water consumption in California, and 52% more than the percentage in the world. People in the world use nearly a third of total water for industry (33%), while the figures for San Diego County and California are exactly the same in both regions, 23%.
In terms of Agriculture, the percentage of water use in worldwide is four times as high as that in San Diego County, at 69% and 17% respectively. Finally, in California the smallest water use is for Agriculture, at 28%.
