Help me with two short sentences

HI,

Can someone help to correct these sentence?
Are both sentences have same meaning or different?

I never visit a museum before.
I did not come to a museum before.

There are some differences between English as it's spoken in England and as it's spoken in the US. They are not usually big differences, but there are some.

LRR has given you her answer, and she is from the United Kingdom. I was confirming that the same thing could be said in the US.
