Help me with these sentences please

Hi. Please help me with these. Are these correct?

1. Let us pretend the letters "XXX" represent the names of drama programs.

In the TV drama "XXX," the person who acts as John seems to be very good.

You should see the drama "XXX" more often -- it is good.

2. Is this correct?

John did as you have told him. - Here, I think he puts the action of what John did in the past, while bringing the relevance of what he told John to the present. (I am sure I phrased the comment part correctly to reflect what I wanted to say, though)

3. Do you think the underlined parts are the same?

He does it every the other day.

He does it every two days.
