Some people think that it is important to use leisure time for activities that improve the mind, such as reading and doing word puzzles.
Other people feel that it is important to rest the mind during leisure time.

Each person can not work all day long, most of us need an amount of time to rest our mind, it is called leisure time. There are two opposite views about this issue. Some people think that we should use leisure time to improve mind. In the main, this opinion is about develop our ability, they believe we could still relax even when we do something that use our mind lightly. I can see the point, but disagree with it entirely. Our mind need a particular gap of time to relax, if not, it would be overloaded. The brain does a lot of thing to run our body, improving our mind even in the leisure time could make the brain under pressure. It may cause some stress related illness. But anyway, the activities to relax of each person are not the same, they depend on each one’s job. I think a worker would love watching TV or playing chess because they do not need any physical activity after work more. And a teacher or a secrectary would love the ourdoor hobbies, because it seemed like they just seat all day long and they need to enhance the habitus. Personally, I prefer to relax totally, synonymous with sleeping or shoping, going out with my friend,… However, what we do in our leisure time is up to us and noone could say that any particular activity is the best. In any situation, the important thing is people have the way to spend their leisure time to stay healthy and be happy.
