Recently, I have attended the New Year festival and it left me many good memories. The festival is also called 'Tet' and is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. 'Tet' celebrates the arrival of spring based on the Vietnamese calendar, and is observed by all Vietnamese people, whether they are living in the country or not. To prepare for this important festival, my family cleaned and decorated our house with red and yellow ornaments in the week preceding. We also prepared some traditional food like spring rolls, chung cake and sticky rice. And on the last day of the year, my family gathered with our relatives to enjoy dinner together. The ambience of the reunion was so happy and wonderful. During the holiday, my family visited our relatives, and we also go to pagodas to pray for good health and happiness. I enjoyed this festival so much because it gave me the chance to gather with my loved ones.
