Help me with my motivation letter writing please!
hi, I'm writing a motivation letter , which is a requirement for me to enroll at TU Delft. I would be very happy if any of you can help me with my writing.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am an Indonesian Citizen and I would like to apply for the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering’s programme at TU Delft. I choose the Aerospace Engineering programme because I want to gain a deeper understanding of how airplanes and rockets work, and how to improve the technologies that already existed, in order to prepare me for my future career as a professional aerospace engineer. I want to be an aerospace engineer because I want to take part in the field of aerial transportation, so in the future I can take part in developing a better air transportation than those which are already available at this time.
I am currently a last year high school student at SMAK 7 BPK Penabur in Jakarta, Indonesia. I will graduate and get my high school certificate by around May 2011.
Last year, when i was still in the second year of high school, I searched all over the internet for Universities that can provide the best education and facilities for the Aerospace Engineering programme that I am willing to take. Then, I heard about TU Delft from my uncle who lives in Netherlands. He said that TU Delft is the best University of technology in Netherlands, even one of the best in Europe. Then I thought, this must be the University I’d been searching for. Moreover, I’d always wanted to study abroad, and I also have a family there in Netherlands.
I am an enthusiastic person when it comes to airplanes and things that can fly. I would really like to be able to work in a team of people whose interests are the same as me. And I think, if I really want to improve my knowledge and skills, TU Delft is just the right place to achieve that.
In conclusion, I would like to say that I am eager to gain new experiences in the field of aerospace engineering. I am convinced that TU Delft would be an excellent start for a bright future career.
